This pedal was built from a Conspiracy to Commit Electronics PCB and enclosure. The circuit is from 1955 Fender tweed Bassman 5D6 tube preamp. All of the parts had to be sourced to build it. It contains two JJ ECC83 tubes (12AX7A type). It requires at least a 550ma 9 volt center negative power supply not included ( I use a Truetone 1spot with mine). The tubes run at high voltage (not a starved plate design) just like the original Fender Bassman amp.
It comes in a 1590B enclosure and I made the label for it myself (decal with 6 coats of poly). I used all high quality components including Lumberg 1/4" jacks & DC jack, WIMA capacitors and black aluminum knobs. This Pedal draws 514ma so make sure that your power supply has enough current. It also has a true bypass stomp switch.
it's capable of going from clean to a lot of overdrive/distortion. The bass and treble controls are boost only with flat at around 8 o'clock.
