The Retro-Sonic Chorus is a direct clone of the Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble and uses the same, now discontinued, analog BBD as the original vintage pedal, with the exception and advantage of running on a standard 9 volt power supply, (the originals were AC powered). The Chorus Ensemble’s unique tone is the standard by which all other chorus effects are measured. It is capable of a wide range of sounds from analog chorusing to pulsating vibrato, having the unique Vibrato feature that was incorporated on the original which can simulate a Leslie rotating speaker. The chorus and vibrato functions are selectable through a footswitch control, allowing desired presets to be maintained separately.
