The DOD FX25 was a much loved envelope filter by bassists and guitarists made from 1983-1987. I built this clone of one in a smaller 1590B enclosure but with a true bypass(the originals had a buffered bypass). It also has all top jacks to save pedal board space. I also added a band pass/low pass selector switch to make it more versatile (the original was only band pass). This pedal makes an excellent "auto-wah" for use with a bass but can also be used for dub and reggae sounds. It's very simple to operate with just the two range and sensitivity controls but is capable of a wide range of envelope filter sounds, from subtle to extreme.
