Jeff at Damnation Audio was kind enough to send me the schematics to the MBD-1 overdrive right when it came out. I purchased one of the early ones and immediately fell in love with it. It came in a very large enclosure (the same size as this dual one!). I wanted to make a smaller pedalboard friendly one so I used his schematic to clone it and managed to squeeze one into a 125B enclosure (like his current MBD-2). Loving the pedal so much made me want to have TWO of them in a single enclosure and have two stomp switches to select between the two (enabling presets). Just like the original, it runs on a standard 9 volt center negative power supply and contains a charge pump for each one to convert it to a bipolar 9 volt supply, so DO NOT exceed using 9 volts with it, otherwise you will damage the charge pumps. It's current draw is 40ma. This is a completely hand made pedal and not made in mass production. Due to the complexity of this build and time constraints, I will not be making any more of them.
