Bass Plumes
Earthquaker Devices Plumes-modded for bass
Earthquaker Devices recently released a new overdrive based on a highly modified TS-808 Tube Screamer. From the demos online it sounded pretty good with a bass so I bought one. Unfortunately, while it sounded great with a guitar, it cut way too much low end for me to use it with a bass. I found the schematic for it, so I built one for myself, but then modified it to retain  the low end, and it makes a really nice OD/Distortion now. The mode switch selects between: 1-Leds  2- none  3- asymmetrical diodes. I am only going to build one like this for sale (the one pictured) so if you want one, it's first come, first served. It comes in a Labeled 1590B with all top jacks and has a relayed true bypass. Just like the original it operates ONLY on 9 volts since it has an internal charge pump making it internally running on bipolar 9 volt power (18volts).
