I just finished building this one and it sounds great. Design by Dead Astronaut and authentically modeled after the Fender Bassman, it uses two Jfet transistors (2N5457) instead of tubes to emulate a blackface Bassman preamp. This pedal is similar to the F2B pedal (a showman preamp) that I previously offered. It comes in a 1590B enclosure with all top jacks and a relayed true bypass. Besides the one that I built for myself, due to time constraints and geniune 2N5457 Jfets no longer being made and becoming very scarce, I am only going to build two more of these for sale. My pedals are completely hand-made by myself and made in very limited quantities. Nothing is farmed out. This is a 100% truly 'boutique pedal.
