I just finished building this one on 1/16/24 and it has quickly become my newest favorite overdrive for bass. It can go from clean to tons of overdrive and heavy distortion. With the treble and bass controls (cut and boost) it covers a wide range of tones from an almost ridiculous amount of low end to a super bright top end, and since the they are interactive it has an infinite amount of anywhere in between. When i first built and tested it, I loved the overdriven tone, but it was lacking low end when running it both clean and dirty so I added a post bass boost circuit that made it come alive. It has an internal trimmer for the circuit that I prefer to run at arounf 60% when using a bass (for guitar you might want to back it off to about 50%). It can be used as a clean & transparent boost as well and can be run with a standard 9 volt power supply, or an 18 volt one for more headroom. This is a completely hand built pedal and it comes in a polished and acid etched 1590B2 with all top jacks and anodized black aluminum knobs. There is no other pedal by any other maker available like it.
